Wheel reprofiling process
1.On Site job, no Need to remove Axle-wheels, Traction motor, Final drives out from Locomotive / Wagon.
2. Accurate Profile of wheels through or Manual operating track wheel lathe machine or CNC Controlled System.
3. To Remove Flat spots, High flanges and worn tread of Locomotive wheels / Wagon wheels.
4. Turns wheels symmetrical as per RDSO Tolerances.
5. Superior Finish & Less Down Time.
1. The Complete automation will be arranged to build-up the weld overlay on the wheel diameter, in a shielding gas atmosphere, (Welded approx. 15mm)
2.Using the automatic process to synchronize proper rotation of the wheel a final hard-facing layer of minimum as required will be built-upon the tread area of wheel and match the wheel profile, with smooth automation weld overlay on the wheel tread and collar, no further finishing is required to complete job. the job will be executed using our own machinery, rotating gear box, welding machine & electrode, shielding gas, lifting jacks, consumable, measuring instruments, tools & tackles. Complete work shall be carried out at site and without dismantling any wheel from the locomotive engine.3. We will provide facilities of Tyre Turning in-situ, which will save time, due to time loss in transit & loco is more efficient after tyre turning or welding & tyre turning.
